Our Process

1 to 1 consultation

The journey to your bespoke garment begins with a personalised 1-to-1 consultation. During this initial meeting, we discuss your vision, style preferences and specific requirements. This is a collaborative process where your ideas are valued, and our expertise guides the creation of a design blueprint tailored to your unique taste.

Prototyping Stages

Once the design sketches are finalised, we proceed to the prototyping stage. A preliminary version of your garment is created, allowing us to refine the design and perfect the fit. During this stage, we confirm measurements, and test out features and functionality communicated in the meeting. once the prototype is finished, Any necessary adjustments are made to align the prototype with your expectations.

Fabric Selection

One of the key features of the design process is the fabric selection. We work from your brief and in collaborations with our suppliers to source some of the highest-quality materials, from our countless suppliers and manufacturers we have built a connection with over the years. so you have the opportunity to choose the fabrics that best suit your style, comfort or technical needs (like our client Salamander over here who needed some fireproof material). Our experts will provide recommendations to ensure that the selected materials align with the desired functionality and aesthetics of your garment.

Fit Check Meeting

At this stage we will have sent out the prototype, and you will have received in the post. You will have the fabric tech pack with you and it's time for the fit check meeting where we discuss all parts of the garments and how they fit, feel and confirm everything fits correctly. Just to note: There are times when working via online communication where slight adjustments need to be made, so this is intended as the perfect opportunity to make slight amendments and ensure the final design will be everything you had imagined.

The Final Unveiling

The will be most exciting part of the journey, where you can unpack your creation and wear your design. You've watched your vision flourish through the stages of development and now youres ready to rock your design to everywhere you go, and did we tell you the best part? When people ask where did you get your clothing from, you can tell them "I designed it"

Outstanding quality techwear pants made by Jak. I ended up having my pants customised with some extras and for my own personal wetware measurements, tall issues included, all executed perfectly. Ribbed calf parts in particular are worth getting extended if you're tall, especially if you also prefer a more "rigger" style look with a relatively long snug calf sleeve part like myself, or just like this to wrinkle up when deployed. Jak's easy going & very professional. I've been getting some of my gear (clothing and more) custom made for about 15 years now, this was one of the best of such encounters - definitely returning for more custom gear.
